Get ready for an action-packed week of sprints, distance runs, hurdles, relays, long jump, triple jump, high jump, discus throw, javelin throw, shot put, camp games and more! This camp was designed for beginning athletes looking to take the next step in their Track & Field career, intermediate athletes looking for to gain a competitive advantage on the track, and anyone looking to get outside, get some exercise, get fit, and participate in some friendly competition against their friends. In this camp we will focus on the F.A.C.E.S. of Track & Field (Flexibility, Agility, Conditioning, Explosiveness, Speed). Campers will learn the fundamentals of proper stretching, breathwork, body positioning, throwing/jumping/running technique, stride optimization, and warm-up/cool-down methods. This camp was designed to help young athletes excel in all sports, not just Track & Field. Pack coaches provide a positive environment where all campers of all abilities can develop at their own pace with lots of encouragement and a big focus on FUN!
