7’s Passing League Football Team

Contra Costa Spring Classic

 Skyhawks will be entering 3-teams into California Premier Football’s Contra Costa Spring Classic.  The Contra Costa Spring Classic is a 7v7 passing league.

10U Team: ages 8-10

12U Team: ages 10-12

14U Team: ages 12-14

7 v. 7 is a non-contact version of football which eliminated the offensive and defensive line (except Center on offense to snap the ball).  There is no blocking, tackling, blitzing, or run plays.  All offensive plays must be forward passes.  Defense uses 1-hand touch to stop the runner and end the play.

There are no tryouts to join.  The Skyhawks Flight Spring Classic Team will have 5 mandatory practices on Wednesdays: 4/19, 4/26, 5/03, 5/10, 5/17.  Practices run from 6pm-8pm at Del Rey Elementary.

On Sunday, 5/21, the Skyhawks Flight Teams will compete in the Contra Costa Spring Classic (see below for details):

10U Schedule:

• Warm-up: 8:30am
• Pool Play Kick-offs: 9:00am, 9:45am, 10:30am
• Bowl Game Kick-off: 11:15am

12U Schedule:

• Warm-up: 12pm
• Pool Play Kick-offs: 12:30pm, 1:15pm, 2pm
• Bowl Game Kick-off: 2:45pm

14U Schedule:

• Warm-up: 3:30pm
• Pool Play Kick-offs: 4pm, 4:45pm, 5:30pm
• Bowl Game Kick-off: 6:15pm

Location: Campolindo High School Football Stadium* (Facility is not yet confirmed and is subject to change leading up to the tournament start date).

Gate Fee: $5/person (kids age 5 and under are free)

*All teams guaranteed 4-games (3 pool play + 1 bowl game)

*1st & 2nd Place in each division receive a Team Trophy

 All players participating in the Contra Costa Spring Classic must have a Zort Player Card to protect the integrity of the tournament, eliminate eligibility disputes, ensure and efficient and effective team check-in process, and provide a safe and fair playing platform for all players.
