Play For A Stray Youth Sports Programs: YOU PLAY..WE RESCUE A STRAY!
Join us in an exciting initiative as For a Stray partners with Skyhawks Sports to launch: Play For A Stray! This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to channel their passion for sports into a meaningful cause—rescuing dogs in desperate need. With every 50 sign-ups, we will save a dog at risk of euthanasia from our overcrowded shelters in the Bay Area. All sports classes are led by the East Bay’s leading youth sports provider, Skyhawks Sports. Together, we can make a difference—one child and one dog at a time!

Learning the fundamentals of baseball has never been so much FUN! Participants will be divided into circuit groups to develop their skills and confidence through a series of age-appropriate games and Skyhawks original competitions. Our enthusiastic staff, age-appropriate curriculum, and modified equipment, allow kids of all abilities to learn through play with lots of encouragement and a big focus on fun. Our development objectives include throwing, catching, hitting, base-running, coordination, balance, body movement, leadership, sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-esteem. Your child will leave with new skills, new friends, and a newfound love for baseball!
